This Photography Walking Tour of London's South Bank is for the scenic photographer who prefers to take studied shots during a leisurely stroll. Your photo tour starts on Westminster Bridge before crossing over to the South Bank and London Eye, where you will stop to explore the fabulous angles of view the Eye provides.
Stay alongside the River Thames all the way until just before the end when you cross the Millenium Bridge to finish on the steps of St. Paul's Cathedral. All the time we have panoramic views across the river, capturing London's most famous iconic landmarks in an area that is traffic free. You have time to concentrate on your photos with expert guidance and advice from your experienced tutor.
This tour is suitable for those who want to learn more about photography in a friendly environment in the safety of a small group (maximum of 8). The tour leader, who is a professional photographer, will advise on all aspects of composition and camera handling. Photos are reviewed if you wish during a break.
You can upgrade this tour to include the "Tower Hour", where you will spend a full hour around the Tower of London and Tower Bridge area. Cross the river to take in leaning City Hall by renowned architect Norman Foster and look back to photograph his famous "Gherkin" building on London's skyline. Please note, cost of travel to Tower Hill is not included in the tour price (approximately GBP3.00).
